A few weeks ago, I flew to Pittsburgh for a quick weekend getaway with my friend Carly thanks to Cambria hotels & suites. We had talked about getting together since our Mexico trip, so when the opportunity to participate in the #CambriaBloggerShuffle came up, we were both super excited. We had the chance to swap cities with the bloggers from eatPGH, who provided us with some wonderful suggestions in their hometown. It turned out to be one of the best weekends ever with shopping, sight-seeing, and eating our way through the city.

We stayed at the Cambria hotel & suites Pittsburgh – Downtown. Located in the heart of downtown and close to popular attractions such as the Pittsburgh Penguins Arena, I was floored by the upscale property as soon as I walked in.
Upon our arrival, we were greeted with a bottle of wine and a dessert tray. Check-in was effortless and our bags were in our room before we were, talk about 5-star service. I was impressed by the modern design, all of the flexible open space and how spacious the rooms were. If you are looking for a place to stay in Pittsburgh, whether it be for business or leisure, I would highly recommend!

After we settled into our rooms, our very first stop in Pittsburgh was Station, a restaurant in the neighborhood of Bloomfield. As soon as we walked in, I loved how the inside looked like an old train station, hence the name. The menu is wide and varied with something for everyone. We ended up ordering everything from the beef tongue dish to their Tagliatelle Pasta and ended with their delectable desserts. All of their portions were generous and I can’t wait to go back next time I am in town.

All in all, this trip to Pittsburgh came at the absolute perfect time. Everything about this city and hotel was exceptional. The food was delectable, the service was great and the property was beautiful – it was a great way to treat ourselves!
