Eating In with Grubhub

in Eats & Drinks  •  October 1, 2018
My favorite thing in the world is not food. (I know, you’re surprised.) It’s not not trying out new recipes or tennis, though those are close. No, what has always been my favorite thing in the world is people. For me, people are fascinating. Learning their stories and connecting over what it means to be human is one of the more precious things in life.  And that’s where food comes in for me because food, essentially, is people. That’s why in honor of National Pizza Day few weeks ago, I treated my friends to Lou Malnatis via Grubhub and they couldn’t be happier.
Food is a connection point for strangers and friends. It’s grown by humans, transported by humans, prepared by humans and enjoyed with one another whether it’s in a office setting, at a park or at home. Food is truly where the heart is.
