Bulgogi Recipe – Korean Barbecue Beef

Ingredients

  • 2lb Thin slices of Rib-Eye Steak
  • 3 tablespoons White Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Toasted Sesame Seeds
  • 2 cloves Garlic (Minced)
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
  • ⅓ cup Soy Sauce
  • ¼Medium Yellow Onion (Slice into medium moon shaped slivers)
  • 2 Green Onions (Finely slice into small pieces)
  • ¼Red Pepper Flakes
  • 2 pinches Black Pepper

Optional

  • ¼Ginger (Finely minced)

Directions

Step 1
Whisk all of the ingredients together in a medium bowl except the beef and onions.
Step 2
Once the sugar has dissolved, add beef and onion slices to the bowl and massage the marinade with your hands into each slice of beef.
Step 3
Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Step 4
To pan fry, place a few slices of beef in single layers and completely flat on a hot oiled frying pan and fry each side until brown and crispy on both sides.
Step 5
Serve over white rice and enjoy!
