in Eating In, Eating Out, Eats & Drinks, Giveaways, Health, Recipe  •  February 28, 2017

There seems to be a notion that food bloggers enjoy extrava gant home cooked meals 7 days a week and have all the time in the world to go grocery shopping. But in reality, there are only so many hours in a day. Hence my happiness when my friend introduced me to Peapod few weeks ago. Founded in 1989, they are the country’s oldest online grocery delivery... Fun Getaway to North Lake Tahoe, Nevada

in Beauty, Eats & Drinks, Health, Style, Travel  •  July 11, 2016

In desperate need of some R&R, I recently traveled west to Nevada/California. My boyfriend and I spent the first few days enjoying the outdoors in Lake Tahoe before making our way to The Biggest Little City in the World, Reno, NV. Lake Tahoe is one of the most popular destinations on the west coast and is famous for the wonderful scenery. Voted America’s best and most beautiful lake, there are many ways to enjoy the vast terrain. The cultural scene in Reno has some amazing art and music venues. Along with world-renowned food and wine, it’s one of Nevada’s best destinations. Check-out my photo journal below.

Top 3 Urban Gardening Tips for Beginners

in Eating In, Eats & Drinks, Health  •  August 9, 2015

If you’ve been following me for a while, then you know last summer I really got into gardening. Living in the heart of a big city often means cramped living. I may lack a yard, but living in an urban environment doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice your love of gardening. Thanks to Burpee’s, the first name in home gardening, I was able to collaborate with them this year to expand my green thumb. They are a company of exclusive varieties of vegetables, herbs, seeds and flowers that are ideal for... in Giveaways, Health, Style, Travel  •  July 13, 2015

One of the worst things in this world is waking up and having a ‘bad hair day’.  How often have you woken up, started getting ready for work and realized that your hair just isn’t going to co-operate with you? Since many of you have asked who does my hair, here are my top go-to when it comes to hair in Chicago: Blow-outs I don’t trust anyone else with my blow-outs hair but Blohaute. What is it? It’s as simple as one, two, three. Book an appointment online and then wait for your dedicated style expert to... NOODLES & COMPANY ADDS MUSCLE TO ITS MENU WITH NEW BUFF BOWLS + RECIPE

in Eating Out, Eats & Drinks, Giveaways, Health  •  June 14, 2015

No carb-loving foodie wants to skimp on pasta, especially not at an eatery with a name like Noodles & Company. Yet the national fast-casual restaurant chain has given us permission to go sans pasta with its new BUFF Bowls. The entrées feature four of Noodles & Company’s most popular pasta dishes – in the nude! The bowls consist of an extra portion of veggies, topped with protein, and served on a bed of spinach in place of noodles. Without pasta, the emphasis is truly on the... Panda the Puppy and the Dyson V6 Mattress Vacuum

in Beauty, Health  •  May 1, 2015

I don’t know about you, but having a teacup morkie is a joy, except when you have to clean after her. Anyone that knows me well knows I have a huge dislike for cleaning. I love my Panda but every time I take my puppy outside, she brings in dust and germs inside. According to Dyson, bed mattresses contain anywhere between 10,000 and two million dust mites that churn out around 40 million droppings per day. To deal... Evolution Fresh Juice Cleanse

in Beauty, Eats & Drinks, Giveaways, Health  •  April 23, 2015

It’s spring… so bring on the green! And by that I mean a bottle of cold-pressed Super Green juice by Evolution Fresh. Not too sweet with just the right amount of tang, this smoothie is packed with nutrition thanks to the fruity flavors of orange, mango, apple, raspberry and pineapple, along with a cleansing spirulina blend. Sipping on Super Green is a great way to greet or close your day, though I personally prefer it as an afternoon pick-me-up while working from Starbucks with a friend. I was lucky enough to do a 3 day cleanse with them a few weeks...
