When I was asked to host Crate and Barrel’s Wedding Registry Access last weekend, I couldn’t say no. I mean, who doesn’t love Crate and Barrel?!

The Private VIP registry access was an opportunity for couples to come in before business hours to register for their wedding, all while checking out a variety of wedding vendors. Everyone had the store to yourself to shop, get personalized registry advice from their experts, and create the perfect registry. As a precaution with everything going on, they limited attendance to 20 couples. Face coverings were required and a staggered check-in process encouraged social distance. They also had several safety measures throughout the store.

Shannon Gail Events was the master mind behind it all and they couldn’t have been easier to work with. Being able to partner with Cristina G Photography, Splendor of Eden, Zippy Booth, Mag Milestones and Jim Perona Guitar was also a treat.

My Top 5 Registry Wish List

As far as the wedding planning process goes, registering for gifts is one of the best parts of getting engaged. You can upgrade everyday basics and staples but also register for things you might not otherwise ever purchase yourself.

One of the benefits of completing a registry at Crate and Barrel gets you 10% off all products; even up to 6 months after your wedding. You also get up to one year to return any gifts that you may no longer want. Another benefit and tool that every bride needs to utilize is their Thank You Manager. This is so helpful since it keeps track of your gifts and the contact information of each gift giver so that you can send out a truly personal thank you note.

See below for some of our favorites that we added to our registry:

Staccato 20-Piece Dinnerware Set
Every couple should register for white porcelain dinnerware. It’s extremely durable, dishwasher and microwave-safe, and it has a beautiful, classic look that works for every day, as well as dressier occasions. I love the staccato dinnerware set by Crate and Barrel. Inspired by the decorative influences of early 1900s Vienna, this simply elegant white porcelain dinner set features a raised dot pattern around the rim.

The oven to stove table pot can be used for pretty much anything and everything, from stews to roasts to even bread. The exterior enamel is made to resist chipping, the interior enamel does not stain and this will last for many years.
